Don’t you wish you could stay here all summer? During our peak summer season (May 21 – September 10) there is a minimum stay of one week.
Shoulder season rentals (May 6 – May 20 and September 10 – October 2) there is a two-night minimum stay.
If you are looking to stay between the months of June-August, you will need to select a check-in date of Saturday or Sunday, with a check-out date of Saturday or Sunday. Weekdays cannot be selected during those months since we do not allow arrivals or departures on the weekdays.
To reserve your sweet summer vacation, a 50% deposit is due upon booking and the final payment is due 30 days before check-in date – then it’s nothing but sun, smiles and water for miles.

No, for safety reasons, we do not allow fireworks.

Taxis and Uber are readily available to do the driving for you. But if you choose to drive, Turning Stone is only a short distance away.
Stay fueled at our favorite local shops. There are Tops Friendly Markets located approximately 15 minutes away in Camden and Canastota. Two market-style convenience stores – Maple Leaf Market and Nice N’ Easy are located right in town. For pre-delivered groceries before your arrival date visit Off The Muck Market online.
Our furry four-legged friends need a vacation too! Dogs weighing 50lbs or less are more than welcome to enjoy the lakeside cottages, but there’s a max of two dogs per cottage. A cleaning fee of $100 plus tax non-refundable fee for the first dog and $50 plus tax non-refundable for the second dog is required. Please remember to pick up after your pets so we can keep our stunning facilities clean for all our guests.

Welcome to your dream escape. Each cottage boasts two full-baths with a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave. There are flat screen televisions in the living room and master bedroom for late night family movie time or rainy-day fun. Every master bedroom has a king size bed and a safe in the closet. Two-bedroom cottages have two full-size XL beds in the second bedroom and three-bedroom cottages have full-size XL bunk beds in the third bedroom. Step outside and enjoy your private gas grill or fire pit with six outdoor chairs, propane tank included. And the best part – a private pontoon boat and dock slip are included for your entire stay.
The two-bedroom cottages are 1,000 sq. ft. and the three-bedroom cottages are 1,200 sq. ft.– perfect for family activities, fun and more.
To keep our cottages safe and fun for all our vacationers, four guests can stay in the two-bedroom cottages and six guests can stay in the three-bedroom cottages. Guests who are not listed under the registration cannot stay overnight.
For all your lakeside, poolside and inside social media posting, online video gaming and BFF texting, complimentary Wi-Fi is available inside and outside the cottage and at the pool.
Yes, cable is provided on all televisions in the cottages so you can tune in to your favorite shows, plan a family movie night or catch the weather for your afternoon boat ride.
While there are no telephones provided in the cottages, there is mobile phone service in the area so you can stay connected. Also, for your convenience, access to each cottage is via your personal mobile phone. There are no traditional room key cards. But remember, this is your vacation, we encourage all our guests to enjoy the amenities of The Cove, unplug and unwind.
For the maximum cleanliness and safety of our rentals, all cottages are smoke-free as is the pool and playground area. Smoking is permitted outside, 15-feet from the cottages.
Although we welcome vacation seekers of all ages, guest must be 25 years or older to rent a cottage.
We want our cottages to feel like your home away from home. In each kitchen you’ll find place settings for six (plates, bowls, flatware, glasses); coffee maker, toaster, can opener, dishtowels, pot holders, serving bowls, pots, pans, storage containers, serving utensils, knife cutlery set, measuring cups, measuring spoons, corkscrew, beverage pitcher, cookie sheet, baking dish, trash can and recycle bin. However, please remember to bring dish soap and garbage bags.
No beach towels? No worries! Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mats, beach towels and bed linens are all included. For your added convenience laundry soap, fabric softener and dryer sheets are also included.
Going out on the town? We have you covered. A makeup mirror is provided in each bathroom.
Ready for some s’mores? The first bundle of firewood is on us! Additional bundles may be purchased at Sylvan Beach Supply Co. No firewood is permitted to be brought on site from other areas.
Less knocking, more time for fun! Daily housekeeping service is not included. Your cottages will be cleaned and refreshed upon your departure for our next guest’s enjoyment.
The best part of this lakeside vacation – your private pontoon for the whole length of your stay. Your boat rental is a 2022 20’ Tahoe Pontoon boat with a 100-horsepower motor including all required safety gear (life vests, fire extinguisher, hand held flares, distress flag, distress whistle, anchor line and shackle, dock line, fenders and fender clips) – boatloads of fun here we come.
Bring your furry four-legged friends and all your human friends, but guests have to be 25 years of age or older to rent a boat. If the boat has someone 25 or older with a boater safety permit, someone else 18 or older with a boater safety permit can operate it.
We want all our guests to have the maximum amount of fun, but we want you to be safe too. Every driver must complete a New York State boater safety course and provide proof to The Cove Management. Drivers must complete the online training prior to arrival at BoatUS Foundation..
Unfortunately, we do not, but it is available online through New York State at BoatUS Foundation.
Yes! New York State does recognize the boating safety certificate issued by the guest’s home state.
Problems happen, but guests are responsible for all costs to repair the boat if damage is incurred while they are using it.
We’re glad you asked! There are several waves for you to ride around here. We’re located right on Oneida Lake, the largest lake entirely within New York State! If that’s not enough, head upstream into Fish Creek for great fishing, kayaking or cruising during daylight hours.
For just a small fee, the boat is all yours! A $250 security deposit is required for all boat rentals and if returned undamaged the deposit will be returned to the guest.
Head over to our sister site and fuel-up! The Cove does not sell fuel onsite, but Snug Harbour, located across the canal does sell fuel.
We like the way you think! Yes, however, guests will have to park and launch their own boat from Snug Harbour.
Why not? Guests can bring all of their own recreational equipment.
Not interested in the boat? No problem, but the boat is included in the rate so there will be no reduction in the price of the cottage.

Sylvan Beach Supply Co. is a convenience store featuring grocery items (candy, beer, soda, grab-and-go meals), household cleaning items (dish soap, laundry detergent,) ice, bait for fishing, wood for the fire pits, souvenirs, ATM and a cafe serving delicious food, bakery items, coffee and ice cream. For the biggest attraction, Sylvan Beach Supply Co. offers water sport rentals including kayaks, canoes, bicycles and more. Sylvan Beach Supply Co. is open from 7am to 9pm daily.
Adventure enthusiasts and new comers alike are all welcome. Guests can rent ski boats, fishing boats, pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, bikes (water and land), skis, tubes and fishing equipment – let the fun begin!
